Fresh Eyes Project

The Fresh Eyes Project is a playwright-centric workshop process designed to nurture the creation and development of new plays. Our directors, dramaturgs and actors in conversation with our playwrights, facilitate an investigation tailored to the artist and their work, acting as an incubator for bold and innovative ideas.

We are creating a space where the playwright can continue the exploration of their craft. What we consider a success is a dynamic collaborative dialogue that yields essential discoveries for the artist and we prize being a part of our playwright's artistic journey.

Chicago Fringe Artist's Networking Night (CFANN)

CFANN is a one-night only celebration event for artists by artists. It’s an event where artists of all disciplines and media can showcase their work and network with other artists in the Chicago community.

Showcase, Network, Collaborate

The driver for this event is conversation. We want participants to interact with each other, with the artists on display, and with the art itself. It is an excellent opportunity to network with artists, hang out with friends, or make out with strangers. The theatre will be transformed into a series of intimate spaces that have interactive activities, art and are great for lounging. Guaranteed to be a fun, sexy, and kind of grungy event, performances will flow in and out of each other throughout the night. We’re not looking for any specific themes, but will create a journey throughout the evening with the work presented. Alcohol, food, and beverages will be served.
